Lagos hosts businesses, others at LITF
Business owners, multinationals, policy makers and a host of other business enthusiasts are set to converge on Lagos for the 30th Lagos International Trade Fair, LITF, billed to hold from 4 â€“ 13 November 2016.
According to the organisers, the fair will include multiple side-events including the annual international business event will also feature the Business-2-Business Corporate Exhibition at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos between Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th November, 2016.
In a statement made available to The NewsGuru, Director General of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Muda Yusuf, said that exhibitors from China, Japan, Ghana, Kenya, Egypt, Cameroun, the U.S, Pakistan and some countries in the E.U, are lined up for event.
With the theme â€œPositioning the Nigerian Economy for Diversification and Sustainable Growthâ€, Yusuf said that the event will create a platform to discuss strategies for economic diversification and business sustainability.
Some government agencies expected at the event include Bank of Industry (BOI), Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Federal Institute of Research, Oshodi (FIIRO), NAFDAC, Corporate Affairs Commission amongst others.
Yusuf added that the event will play host to the Nigerian Creative Industry. According to him, â€œthe creative industry fair, Eko-Akete, is expected to identify and groom up-coming talents by facilitating socio-economic networking with already established brands in the industry.
