GENESIS 25:28-34. And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his vension:but Rebekah loved Jacob. And Jacob sod pottage: Esau came from the fields, and he was faint: And Esau said to Jacob, feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage: for I am faint:therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said, sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, be hold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright to me? And Jacob said, swear to me this day: and he swore to him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles: and he did eat and drink, and rose up and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
Hunger, lack can make you sell any thing. Hunger made him to sell his birthright.
*PSALMS 34:6. David said, this man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The poor through the gospel of Christ Jesus made rich Spiritually in righteousness. If the poor is born again, in Christ such person had been set in the position of distinction.
*IF YOU SEE YOURSELF AS POOR, YOU WILL REMAIN IN THAT POSITION UNTIL YOU DIE.
Perfect example of David. He was poor, he did not like it so he approached God for help, and God blessed him.
A brother (Jacob) of the same parents bought the brother’s inheritance. What a shameful act. Christ Jesus through death and resurrection conquered poverty on your be half. But lack of Knowledge of the will of God in His written word can make you remain poor naturally all the days of your Life. But you can change it.
*Esau was hungry but he was not poor, he came back from work (he was a farmer) he was possibly too tired to make food for himself, but he smelt something in the air, which made him approached the brother, hey bro I am hungry give me some of your food. Be careful when you are hungry. Spiritually through Christ Jesus you have been set free in every area of your Life.
*In MATTHEW 11:5. The blind received their sight, and the lame walked, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf heard, the dead are raised up, and THE POOR HAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHED TO THEM. You can use the gospel to create Wealth and poverty will bow to you.
*2CORINTHIANS8:9. For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and Spiritual blessing),[in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundant supplied).
*You can see from this scripture if poverty was the will of God for the world, Jesus Christ would not have accepted to become poor, Christ Jesus became poor to demonstrate *JOHN3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting Life.
*Poverty is not His will for you. Satan can use your negative family back ground to deal with you, even though you are born again, except you have revelation knowledge of the written word of God, and by applying the force of Knowledge you will kick poverty out of your Life.
*The poor has he made rich with the fullness of grace. Meaning He has supernaturally satisfied every born again believer with abundance. By applying knowledge in your day to day living through faith you will break through in life. The poor can come out of poverty if he or she desires with determination to do something to create prosperity.
*PSALM 112:9. He hath dispersed, He hath given to the poor: His righteousness endureth for ever His horn shall be exhalted with honour.
No body has respect for the poor. In the beginning of creation, God actually blessed man and woman, He said unto them be fruitful in life naturally, He equally gave them power.
*PSALMS 132:15. I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
*PSALMS147:14. He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat. Esau sold his birthright for a plate of pottage.
If He became poor on your behalf so what are you doing with poverty.
*2CORINTHIANS 9:8-9. And God is able to make all grace abound towards you: that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad :He given to the poor: His righteousness remaineth for ever.
*COLOSSIANS 2:14. Blotting out the hand writing of ordinance that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.
Sickness can make you sell your property, lack of money can make you sell some of your Furniture to raise money. You can sell the only car you have to enable you pay some urgent bills. Do not settle for poverty,
NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT. Bad condition can be change. HOW DO I GET RID OF LACK, POVERTY?
* study the written word of God that you may have knowledge and think of what you can do.
*make daily confession of the word of God upon your Life by rejecting the negative things going on around you.
*learn to acknowledge the presence of Holy Spirit in you, then allow Him to guide you to walk in the right path of Life.
*daily ask Holy Spirit for wisdom to handle Life effectively for progress. Before we came to Christ, we were completely in bondage. Esau was not poor, but because he was hungry. Have vision, have dream, be inspired by Life. Prosperity is a decision. I want to be somebody in life, see yourself becoming successful, prosperous. (ESAU WAS HUNGRY, HE WAS NOT POOR). Change your thoughts to change your life. What you see is what you will bring to birth. God hath decided the Life you should live before you arrived the earth.
*PSALM 107:41. Yet setteth He the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like flock.
*PSALM 113:7-8. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill: That He may set him with princes, even with the princes of His people.
He who till his ground will be satisfied with bread. David did not like poverty, so he cried out to God for help. Life is sweet.
*PROV 28:19. He who cultivates his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless people and pursuits will have poverty enough.
*HEBREW 12:16. Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
Wealth and riches will be in the house of him who has wisdom and knows how to till his ground, poverty will be far from such a person.
