Award-winning Hollywood actress and mother of Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds just passed on at age 84.Reynolds died on Wednesday night, December 28, hours after she was taken to Cedars Sinai medical center from her son’s house in Beverly Hills.
She died after suffering a severe stroke, minutes after declaring that she would like to be with her late daughter Carrie Fisher.
‘The last thing she said this morning was that she was very, very sad about losing Carrie and that she would like to be with her again. The only thing we’re taking solace in is that what she wanted to do was take care of her daughter, which is what she did best’, her son Todd reveals.
Carrie Fisher died on December 27, days after suffering a heart attack while on a flight from London to Los Angeles
. During her lifetime, Reynolds won one Oscar when she was presented with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award in 2015.Reynolds also got nominated five times at the Golden Globe Awards but didn’t win one.
