Entertainers celebrate Funke Akindele as she clocks 40

Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele Bello fondly called Jenifa, added a year on Thursday July 24th and for her, it was a time to thank God  for sparing her life.

 

The talented actress took to her Instagram account to share a video of herself swaying to celebrate her birthday saying, ” #throwback !! It’s my birthday!! All glory to God!! #ilovemylife#iamdoingitagain  Songs by my hubby”

 

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, took to her  Instagram page  to express her wish for the birthday girl: “Happy birthday my super woman, thank you for being amazing you’’.

 

In the same vein, beautiful actress Bimbo Thomas wrote on her Instagram page:” May this birthday brings forth abundance of grace that is sufficient for all things. You shall have a reason to celebrate”.

 

 

Talented actress and movie producer, Uche Jombo Rodrigues on her twitter page, said: “ Jenifa!!!!! Birthday girl, ujlovers show this sister of mine love @funkeakindele you deserve every blessing, love, favour and grace, love U.’’

She came to limelight after featuring in popular United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) sponsored sitcom; I Need to Know, which ran from 1998 to 2002.

In 2009 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Funke Akindele also plays the lead character in the hit TV show Jenifa’s Diary, alongside Fisayo Ajisola, Falz, Lolo and more. The show is a spin-off from the movie titled Jenifa.
