Adekunle laments over the downside of ‘Fame’ in new video

Every one desires to be rich and famous, without realizing that fame has it’s own downside.
The loss of one’s privacy, being subjected to hyper-criticism are one of the snags of being in the public eye. Adekunle sings about this in his new video released days after he unveiled his sophomore album ‘About 30’.
On the inspiration behind the song, Adekunle said: “You see this thing called fame, it’s weird, the opportunities and exposure it has accorded me has also made me very isolated.”
‘Fame’, the singer said, “was borne out of a depressed place”.
Adekunle croons in the song: “I’ve gone to many places with a lonely heart/ I’m longing for a place where I can be a part/ I’m here in my own hose but home seems so far/ I’ve tried to cut the distance but it feels so far.
“Everybody says don’t change but how will I grow?/ I’m scared to do the things I want but people don’t know/ I wanted the fame but I no know say the thing go hard.”
