Earlier today, TheNewsGuru reported that operatives of the Nigeria Police Force Saturday stormed the venue of Bobrisky’s birthday party in Lagos following tip-off from some concerned members of the public.
In a new development, the Lagos State Police Command says it stormed the venue of the birthday party of Bobrisky, due to sensitive information it received.
Speaking on the operation, the police spokesperson, Bala Elkana has confirmed said, “I can confirm that we sealed off the place based on credible information. That is all I will say for now until the operation is over.”
Meanwhile, Bobrisky assured his fans via his Snapchat stories, that he is doing well and would like to heed to the advice of his grandmother; “In any situation you find yourself, just thank God.”
Bobrisky also hinted that his hard earned N19m went down the drain over the police saga.
In a statement issued to the police divisions in Elemoro, Epe, Victoria Island, and Alausa over 100 personnel was deployed to the venues to ensure that no immoral act takes place in the premises.
“Considering the pedigree of the celebrant, the event may likely cause breach of public peace and it is expected that no immoral display should be allowed,” it read.
“To augment security at each of the venues, ACPOL Area ‘A’ Lion Building/SUPOL Victoria Island is to mobilize 50 men from own Area Command/Division to provide security at Club DNA, No 76 Adetokumbo Ademola Street, opposite Eko Hotel and Suite, Victoria Island and Paradise Boat Club, plot 8, Walter Carrington Crescent, Victoria Island on 31/08/2019 and 01/09/2019 respectively.
“To be assisted by DPO Victoria Island, ACPOL Area ‘J’ Elemoro/SUPOL Maroko is to mobilize 50 men from own Area Command/Division to provide water-tight security at Club DNA, No 76 Adetokumbo Ademola Street, opposite Eko Hotel and Suite, Victoria Island and Paradise Boat Club, plot 8, Walter Carrington Crescent, Victoria Island on 31/08/2019 and 01/09/2019 respectively.”
He also warned that should there be a breakdown of law, the premises should be shut down immediately. “
Note, Area commanders/DPOs are to personally lead the men to the locations and ensure no immoral act should take place while the locations should be shut down if necessary all to ensure strict compliance please,” the statement added.
Bobrisky was meant to host the party at ‘The Pearl Gardens’, Wole Olateju Crescent, Off Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
TheNewsGuru recalls that earlier in the week, the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, threatened to go after Bobrisky and others like him, describing the cross-dresser as a disgrace to the nation.
