One of the unforgettable moments of the recently held ‘Falz Experience Concert’ was when Funke Akindele chased her husband, JJC Skillz, offstage .
The concert held 8th of June 2019, featured an array of stars like Simi, Adekunle Gold, Niniola, Sola Sobowale, Seyi Shay and others.
The rapper had requested the presence of his ‘sweet boys’ on stage in eagerness of a performance of his song with the same title
JJC, Basketmouth IK Osakioduwa, Tobi Bakre, Ayoola were some of the men who joined the parade.
However, something unusual happened on stage.The wives of those married amongst the ‘sweet boys’ interrupted the performance ,forcing their husbands offstage humorously.

In her usual amusing fashion, Funke removed her shoes on stage to allow her find JJC easily.

Funke who launched her YouTube Channel in April recently recounted how she struggled to get roles in Nollywood.
“ I struggled to get up there, I got a lot of ‘nos’. I attended several auditions. If you are looking for the queen of auditions, it is me. I remember back then people will tell me during auditions ‘You are so good’, and I will think may be by the time I check the list I will get a supporting role. Lo and behold, I will see my name in the church extras list. I would cry, I wanted to give up
My mum back then encouraged me not to give up, telling me it’s a God given talent. Sometimes I would trek to some places, then take a bus. I could count how many shoes and dresses I had back then. I got a lot of ‘nos’, till I got a big break , ‘I need to know’.”

The ‘Jenifa’s Diary’ actress noted that despite playing a lead role in ‘I need to know’, she went from the top to the bottom.
