I was born and breed in Nnewi, a suburban town in Anambra state, south east Nigeria. I grew up in a compound filled with tenants from diverse ethnic group with diverse characters. Sometimes, I find myself trying to mimic someone’s character; I guess that was when I started falling in love with acting

What is that one role you look forward to playing?

I would really love to play the role of a lawyer. It’s really fascinating to see the enormous amount of influence they have in our society.

How did your acting journey start?

I made my acting debut in 2013 in a movie titled ‘The hustler’. I still remember how two producers approached me in a cyber café while I was registering my courses in 100 level. I was invited for the audition after which I was given the lead role.

After the movie I was called to feature in other movies, but my busy schedule at school wouldn’t let me. So from 2013-2016, I did few jobs but I had to focus more on my education.

After my graduation in 2016, I enrolled at Royal Arts Academy. I got the film education I needed. I got my first big role in the series CRAZY LOVELY COOL (CLC). It was directed and produced by Obi Emelonye  in conjunction with Trace  TV. I starred alongside   actors like Adesua Etomi, Enyinna Nwigwe, Uru Eke, Anthony Monjaro, Obi Okoli. I also made a guest appearance in the Globacom tv series, Professor JohnBull

I have since gone ahead to feature in many movies, Kasie’s Diary, ikemefuna, Akudo, Revenge, Stolen, Celebrity Marriage, Divine lies , Something Like Love, Pain killer, Ojukwu series, Crumbling cookies , Different worlds, amongst others.

What is the greatest price you have ever paid for being in the limelight?

That would be when I was in school. I missed a lot of lectures. In my 300Level I came to Lagos all the way from Ebonyi State University for a Tinsel Audition and I wasn’t even casted. My GPA was affected.

What makes you cry?

Sometimes I cry at extremely emotional situations. For instance, if you surprise me on my birthday with an unexpected gift, I might probably cry. If I lose a dear one, I’d definitely cry.

What is your opinion about the injection of soft porn in Nollywood movies?

It’s not African. It goes against our norms and values. It should be kept within bounds.

What factors do you look out for before picking up a sensual role?

I like using my craft to pass a positive message so if the role is passing a vital message am cool with it but I have limits.

What is the weirdest message you have ever gotten from fans?

I once got a Dm from a fan asking me to visit him in Dubai for a dinner. I politely declined but he kept pushing as if he had other agenda. I found it weird and I blocked him.

What other things do you do asides acting?

I manage a furniture store for Jay Luxury Interiors.
