The Covenant University graduate also added that 2015 was a super slow year for her.
“Yes, I started in 2014. 2015 was super slow. It looked like it was just one year, but its 365 days. That’s really a long period to not have anything going on for you.
“I got a 9-5 job it didn’t work out. I started my own business, it didn’t work out. I have sold hair and sold clothes. I have worked in an office, I worked as a presenter. I have done a whole lot of stuffs. So in 2016, Uduak Isong came and the story changed. There were times I wanted to give up, but thank God for my guardian angel on earth, Uduak Isong”, she told TheNewsGuru
Asked about how she feels about her recent award nominations, she said: “These are huge platforms, these are prestigious platforms. For them to just notice tiny little me in the corner and put me in the midst of giants, means I am doing something right”.
Ademoye also stated that she has a good support system.
“My family, my dad and Uduak Isong keep me going. I flash back and I remember that I used to watch Genevieve on TV, I look up to her. Now, it’s my turn. I just need to be there for those who look up to me too. Not that I wanted to be put in that position, but I am there now and I am thankful”.
Bimbo’s role in Backup Wife earned her a nomination for Best Lead Role at 2018 Nigeria Entertainment Awards
