Comedian and actor, Adebamiro Adeyanju a.k.a Hyenana has said women have the power to go for whatever they want.
The social media influencer said:” When you are famous, you get to see a different side of life and if you’re not strong enough, it would pull you down. I am still learning. Women want what they want and if a woman wants you, you have to be as strong as Hercules (to resist). I even get requests from married women. Some want me to have dinner with them when their husbands are not around. Also, young girls want to come visiting. Some want to be in my skits as well. Yes, it is cool that people want me but I know where to draw the line. I don’t mix business with pleasure but I explore and network”, he told Punch.
Asked about the doors social media has opened for him, Hyenana said: “The doors social media has opened for me are actually the biggest ever in my career. I have always known that I am funny and talented but social media was the platform that made me able to showcase my gifts to a large number of people. It was basically a case of opportunity meets preparation. Whatever I have today is based on the platform of social media”.
Sharing one of his embarrassing moments as a comedian, the entertainer revealed that it was when his friends deceived him by telling him one of his jokes was funny.
“I once cracked a joke and my friends said it was funny. I didn’t know they just wanted to encourage me. So, when I got to an event, I cracked the same joke and people started throwing things at me. A guy actually went to buy a bag of sachet water and threw them all at me”.
