Nigerian rapper MI Abaga has officially released his latest album entitled, ‘Rendezvous’. So far, his fans have been lauding him for the work done on the album.
MI featured the likes of Wande Coal, AKA, Odunsi and others on the album.
When asked how long he took him to work on the album, he said: “I have been so busy over the last two years. Last year, I did a Tutu Fellowship, I am the CEO of a record label, I am on the board of a few companies. I work for like 6 days in a month. I started from May using two weeks each. So from May till this moment, may be ten months. At some points we flew to Abuja” he said.
He urged African rappers to take the mantle from older rappers like himself.
“I love Hip-Hop and Africa so much . I want the young rappers to be allowed to do what they need to do. Young rap legends in the industry, take this mantle from us and take it as far as you can” he told Hip TV
