Yemi Alade, Nigerian Afro-pop singer, has released the official visuals for her ‘Oh My Gosh’ remix, where she teamed up with Rick Ross, US Grammy award-winning rapper.

However, the much anticipated music video has been welcomed with different shades of criticisms from Nigerians who are of the opinion that Rick Ross didn’t do justice to the song.

Directed by Ryan Snyder, the 3 minutes, 35 seconds long video sees the Afro-pop singer draped in flamboyant African prints while displaying immaculate energetic dance moves to her hit soundtrack.

The fans are of the opinion that Rick Ross’ rap lines aren’t in sync with the beat of the song.

Read the comments gathered by TheNewsGuru below:

@Efosaowen: I believe Nigeria rappers will do more justice to this song than Rick Ross, congrats yemi…

@Nowyouknow: Rick Ross? Let me play it again. I don’t think it goes down with me,maybe another artist would have done better. Rick Ross is fading away,so he wants to regain relevance with our Queen. Yemi is my lady.

@Truthmeter: Rick Rose was a waste, he sounds like an amateur 😅 Khaligraph Jones from Kenya could’ve done justice to the song

@Naijadrama: phyno would have killed the rap more than rick ross…nice concept though

@Ice: To be honest rick ross is a legend but his rap doesnt go with the song. Yemi already made the song perfect by herself but anyways
