Concerned fans of vocal power house, Waje have taken to Twitter to react to a video that surfaced online, where she revealed that she might just quit music because it is draining her resources.
In the viral video uploaded on her YouTube page titled ‘Music is not for me’, the songstress, expressed her frustrations concerning returns on investments in her last album, which she thinks is one of the best that has come out of Nigeria.
The viral video has since triggered a flurry of reactions from fans and critics on the social media.
”This is a cry for help; Waje, a single mother is putting a daughter through university all by herself. She is talented,” said one Twitter user.
“Waje is broken maybe even depressed.
“Let’s not allow it to be too late (God forbid) Twitter has made it happen for less deserving people.”

Females hardly support each other.
There is not one single female feature on any of Tiwa’s 3 projects.
Be intentional about your support girls.
Without females excessively streaming & screaming at male artist gigs, there won’t be no male domination.
Do the same for #Waje !— IAMTJ?onnects (@iAmTJConnects) March 25, 2019

Its just so disheartening how people say hateful words to other people..Whatever grounds #waje is coming from, no one has the right to use horrible words on her..Seriously, who are you to call another person names?

What Big sis @OfficialWaje talked about in her video posted on Instagram is what most creative and talented people in go through and it is very discouraging for young artist like us. #Waje

I really do not think Waje’s statement is about pity. She’s only speaking her reality. She invested so much in her business but it is not yielding the results she expected.
The only way she can get returns is if we patronize her…Listen to the album! Buy it!#RedVelvet #Waje

It’s sad hearing that #waje is facing tough times in the music industry because i know she’s a powerful singer with an enviable vocal ability. I think she only needs to study what works here, what trends &mayb a collabo with one of these reigning artists culd do it for her again
