Trending: Nigerians react over alleged arrest of Bobrisky (Video)

The Nigerian Twittersphere has been set abuzz following earlier claims that Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, controversial internet personality and cross-dresser also known as Bobrisky, has been arrested.

According to social media speculations, Bobrisky was arrested last night at his residence at Chevron Drive, Lekki Lagos and whisked away to an unknown destination.

It was speculated that his arrest is linked to his “cross-dressing” activities, although this hasn’t been verified. One of the officers was also quoted as saying “we will turn him back to a guy.”

Some social media users speculated that the officers who arrested him, brought him back on Thursday morning to move all his cars.

His close allies, Tonto Dikeh and Anita Joseph are yet to react to news of his alleged arrest.

TheNewsGuru recalls that weeks back Bobrisky boasted that  he remains the only known cross-dresser in the country.

The Snapchat celebrity disclosed this on his social media page, in what appeared to be a thinly-veiled dig at other upcoming cross-dressers.

He said those emulating him can only try their luck, hinting that his “crown is for no one”.

In a short video clip posted on his page, Bobrisky was seen bringing out packs of cash inside a black polythene bag and handing them to someone he addressed as “senator.”

“Senator girlfriend…… Did I hear there is another upcoming Bobrisky ? You go hustle tire. My crown is for no one,” he wrote on her Instagram.
