Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage who recently concluded her Savage tour has lamented over being a woman.
The revered mother of one stunned her fans when she took to her Insta stories saying she feels like giving up and she is tired of fighting.
“It’s a sin to be a woman in Africa. I feel like giving up, tired of fighting , tired of proving myself , tired of smiling.
No one knows what prompted her rant, however we hope she doesn’t allow it to depress her”.
The singer recently featured Duncan Mighty on ‘Lova Lova’, a song that has been well-received since its release. She recently shared how the collaboration came to be and her adoration for the Port Harcourt-based artiste.
“We’ve had this record since January,” Savage said in an interview with SoundCity.
“Right after I dropped ‘Vibe’ it just seemed like the next to drop. And I could hear Duncan on it.
“Duncan Mighty and myself had spoken for a long time about working together.
“So he was in Lagos and I invited him around to the studio and played him a couple of records.
“And that one in particular, he was like ‘I love this record’.
“And literally I think in 10-15 minutes he wrote his verse. It was just magic. It was just one of those unexplainable experiences. I was just meant to be.
“He’s amazing, he’s so talented. Being in the same room while he’s creating can be intimidating.
“But he’s also very humble and he works hard like he’s an upcoming artiste. He puts his all into it. I love his energy, he has a beautiful vibe.”
