- Pretty Mike
Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, a Lagos nightclub owner, popularly known as Pretty Mike in the course of the year said “short women are never satisfied in bed” in what appears to be a glaring diatribe on women “below 5ft 3 inches.”
The popular Lagos created a stir when he made the statement, with many disagreeing with his opinion.
Pretty Mike added that “females with the worst atrocities are mostly short women,” and that “we were all created in God’s image with the exception of short women.”
- Naira Marley
Azeez Fashola, Nigerian singer better known as Naira Marley, threw a jab at the Nigerian government earlier in the year. The singer subtly claimed to be the “problem” of the country — not the federal government or officials of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
TheNewsGuru recalls that The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) charged the ‘Soapy’ crooner with 11 counts bordering on conspiracy, possession of counterfeit credit cards, and fraud.
Marley wrote on Twitter: “Naira Marley is d problem of Nigeria not sars, not police and not the government,” he wrote in a flurry of tweets.
3.Toke Makinwa
Nollywood actress and radio presenter made a statement this year about her singe status. The television host and entrepreneur, who is known for expressing her thoughts about marriage said:”I am still single as single as a dollar bill but not as a result of the scarcity of “men”, but by choice. I love me too much to share me with anyone till. Well till I find someone who is worth it,” she wrote.
“I am not anti-marriage, I love the institution. The greatest love story I have ever heard of or seen was my folks. They loved and joked about dying together and they were buried side by side. I am a lover girl, just won’t tolerate the BS.”
4.Tonto Dikeh
Controversial actress, Tonto Dikeh, astounded many this year when she revealed that her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, could not allegedly last more than 40 seconds in bed with a woman. She had said, “At the beginning of the relationship, I never suspected him of cheating because he has a sexual problem, a disease– it’s called premature ejaculation. He can’t stay inside a woman for more than 40 seconds. My son was the longest sex (we had)– one minute.”
The statement made her trend on social media.
5.Tiwa Savage
Nigerian songstress , Tiwa Savage days back said her relationship with Wizkid, should not bug anyone.
Savage made this known during in her concert ,before inviting Wizkid for a live performance at the Eko Hotels, Lagos.
She said: “The last person I am going to introduce is special to me,” she announced, with the fans screaming Wizkid in return even before she mentioned his name.
“It’s not just any kind of relationship, it is a one-on-one relationship and I own him. I don’t care what people say about us.
“I might be older but the older the berry, the sweeter the juice.”
