Ever since Toyin Abraham embraced rebranding, the role interpreter has amazingly continued to soar against all odds. In 2017, grew her fan base beyond the borders of Yoruba flicks, by featuring in movies like Okafor’s Law, Wives on Strike, among others.
Her movie, Alakada Reloaded purportedly raked in twenty-five million naira in three days. The bubbly actress may just might clinch an award at the 2018 edition of African Magic’s Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA).
- A Don Jazzy-D’banj collaboration
2018 ended on a peaceful note for Don Jazzy, Dbanj and other members of the defunct Mo’ Hits crew. The duo reunited on stage at ‘Davido’s 30 Billion Concert’.
Since their reconciliation, the duo have been supporting each other on social media. Don Jazzy recently congratulated D’banj for bagging a chieftaincy title. A musical collaboration between these music sweethearts may happen in 2018. Fans will love to see this happen.

In 2017, there were countless social media posts asking lamenting over Lagbaja’s music hiatus.
However in an interview with TheNewsGuru, the masked one revealed that he would work on an album as soon as he is done with renovating ‘Motherlan’
According to him:”When I came back about a year ago, I decided to reconstruct motherland and that is my focus right now. But there has been a huge delay on the project and that is why there tends to be some quiet; it’s just a matter of time. My album will come after I’ve gotten ‘Motherlan’ back on its feet again”
