The trailer for ‘A Fall from Grace’, Tyler Perry’s forthcoming thriller, has been released — days ahead of the movie’s January 17 premiere.
In 2018, Perry had put out ‘Acrimony’, his critically acclaimed psychological thriller, a movie which starred Taraji Henson and Lyriq Bent.
‘Acrimony’ did great in cinemas, grossed over $43.5 million in the United States and Canada alone, and amassed innumerable reviews from around the world.
On Friday, Perry’s film ‘A Fall From Grace’ got its official trailer after same was released by Netflix, an American streaming giant.
The film follows the story of Grace Waters (Crystal Fox) — a woman who decided to give love another try after being disheartened over her ex-husband’s affair.
Grace learns the horrifying secrets about her new husband (Mehcad Brooks) but her vulnerable side turns violent with her ending up in jail for alleged murder and fraud.
The trailer opens with lawyer Jasmine (Webb) visiting Grace at the prison where the latter was remanded.
“When you wake up, you don’t know that today will be the day to change your life,” said disgruntled Grace as Jasmine asks what it was that happened to her such as to land her behind bars.
“I was falling hard. I didn’t even know that a man could be that perfect,” Grace continues as glimpses from their relationship replay, including her ex proposing before their wedding.
“It was a whirlwind. The happiest time of my life. That’s when everything I knew shattered.”
