Olanrewaju Ogunmefun a.k.a Vector has slammed Nigerian music producer, Samklef over downplaying the importance of lyrics in contemporary Nigerian music.
The drama started when Samklef stated that Nigerians don’t want good lyrics, adding that they just want to dance.
Samklef wrote on Twitter: “Lyrics no dey sell for naija we just want party and Dey alright. Simple hook repeat am twice everybody sing along”.
Vector who was displeased by Samklef’s statement, condemned his colleague for misinforming his followers.
He wrote: “Sam you no get sense for this talk.No dey mislead people with funny talk. You say naija problem no be lyrics.Na thief , sense of greed”
In recent times, Vector has been in a rap war with the former CEO of Chocolate City, a feud that has seen them both put out diss tracks and strategically tackle each other with their lyrical prowess.
In his current diss track dedicated to M.I, Vector said accused Abaga of playing down on a brother (Jesse Jags), and thereafter “evicting” and making him move from Lagos to Ondo and then to Port Harcourt.
