Popular French writer, Yann Moix has been slammed on social media for saying he won’t be able to love a 50-year-old woman because he finds women of that age too old.
Yann made this known in a chat with Claire magazine
“I prefer younger women’s bodies, that’s all. End of. The body of a 25-year-old woman is extraordinary. The body of a woman of 50 is not extraordinary at all,” he said.
This has however sparked reactions from Nigerian entertainers.
For curvy Nigerian actress, Amara Maduka, love is not about age:” It’s the body those ages. Not the heart. Emotions don’t age. People who say “age is nothing but a number” got that right”, she told TNG.
Seyi Hunter sex vlogger and actress says women in their 50’s usually have a high libido, adding that age is not a limitation when it comes to matters of the heart.
“How can a 50- year -old woman be too old to love?50 is the new 30 and life begins at 50.Their Libido is crazily high at that age.
“There are lots of 50 –year- olds that are falling in love, some getting married and even having great sex. The older the wine, the better. A man once told me that his 54- years-old wife give better head and rides him non- stop than any young girl he has been with. Women in their 70’s are even getting engaged. Nobody is too old to fall in love or to be loved”, she said.
Chioma Ivoke, a Nollywood actress believes falling in love shouldn’t be tied to age, status or sex.
In her words:”Falling in love can happen to anyone irrespective of age, class, status, sex and even health issues”.
