Breaking: Gov. Okowa makes appointments into DESOPADEC

Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has appointed Michael Diden AKA Ejele as Chairman of the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC).

TheNewsGuru (TNG) reports Governor Okowa also appointed Bashorun Askia Ogieh as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the DESOPADEC board.

John Obukowho Nani, Shedrack Agediga, Leonard Anoka Executive Director and Daniel Itsekirimi Mayuku were appointed as Executive Directors in the board by Governor Okowa.

Members appointed into the board by the Governor include Grifton Omastsuli, Paul Oweh, Kent Okiemute, Joyce Overah, Anslem  Nwokenye, Paul Bebenimibo, Ikechukwukwu Akozor, Vincent Oyibode and Ossai Ochonogor Samuel.

In a similar development, Governor Okowa has also announced the appointment of Senator Ighoyota Amori as Chairman of Delta State Capital Development Agency.

Dr. Joseph Utumara was appointed as Chairman of the board of the newly established Warri/Uvwie and Environs Special Area Development Agency.

Also appointed is Comrade Ovuozorie Macaulay who will serve as Managing Director of the Warri/Uvwie and Environs Special Area Development Agency.

TNG reports the Governor has forwarded the names to the Delta State House of Assembly for confirmation.
