The Delta State House of Assembly has cleared the final batch of ten commissioners forwarded by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
TheNewsGuru (TNG) reports the ten commissioners designate were cleared at Tuesday plenary presided over by Speaker of the House, Sheriff Oborevwori.
Those cleared by the State Assembly as commissioners and members of the State Executive Council are Aniagwu Charles Ehiedu, Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, Mordi Ononye and Ovie Oghoore.
Other commissioners and members of the State Executive Council also cleared are Emmanuel Amagbaduba, Mrs. Gbubemi Ikolo, Matthew Tsekiri, Christian Onogba, Omamofe Joseph Pirah and Henry Sakpra.
Also, during Tuesday’s plenary sitting of the State House of Assembly, members of the governing board of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC) were confirmed.
Those screened and confirmed are Michael Diden, Chairman; Askia Ogieh, Managing Director; Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director, and John Nani, Executive Director.
Others screened and confirmed are Daniel Mayuku, Executive Director; Leonard Anoka, Executive Director; Griftson Timeyin Omatsuli, Member; Paul Oweh, Member, and Kent Akigho Okiemute, member.
Other members screened and confirmed include Oj Overah, Anslem Nwokenye, Paul Bebenimibo, Okechukwu Christian Akozor, Vincent Oyibode, and Ossai Ochonogor Samuel.
