The presidential candidate of the Sustainable Development Party (SDP) Ahmed Buhari has backed out of the presidential race.
Also, Ahmed has now joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to drum up support for its presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari.
Ahmed Buhari joined the APC last week and was on Channels TV Sunrise Daily on Wednesday.
According to him, he stepped down from the race as Muhammadu Buhari is the right man for the job.
He noted that the Buhari government has also made some gains in the last four years it came on board in the country.
Ahmed was once a member of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but left for the SDP to fulfill his dream of becoming the country’s leader.
President Buhari and Atiku Abubakar of the APC are the main contenders for the presidential election billed for February 16th.
