The Bishop of Nsukka Diocese of the Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Aloysius Eze Agbo, and his wife, Ifeoma amazingly welcomed a set of triplets after 19 years of marriage.
TheNewsGuru (TNG) reports Rev. Ikechukwu Asogwa of the Diocese, who made this known on Saturday, said the set of triplets are two boys and a girl, and described the birth as blessings from heaven.
Bishop Agbo had been married to Ifeoma for 19 years without giving birth. With the birth of the triplets, Agbo has been referred to as Abraham, while his wife has been referred to as Sarah.
Rev. Asogwa admonished Christians and indeed Nigerians to be patient in issues concerning child birth in marriage, stressing, “there is gain in waiting for the Lord”.
“Brethren and friends, when you are married and prayed, wait for the Lord to give other needs of yours. There is gain in waiting for the Lord. He shall never forget you.
“Hurrying in life may only land you into trouble. The Bishop of Nsukka, Rt Rev Aloysius Eze Agbo married Ifeoma, his amiable wife and for over ten years, they had waited upon the Lord.
“This night [Saturday night], the Lord broke the silence and gave them three hildren at once,” the clergy said.
