As the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) concludes it’s 67th Annual Convention, General Overseer of the Church, Enoch Adeboye on Sunday ordained 1,885 ministers in the Church as pastors.

TheNewsGuru (TNG) reports Pastor Adeboye during the ordination service said, “The office of the pastor is a sacred one in the RCCG. It is the highest office in the RCCG; the General Overseer is also a pastor”.

The General Overseer charged the pastors saying, “We ordain you Pastors in the name of the Father. May God overshadow you, the Holy Spirit will be your strength. Whatever you bind and loose will be so in heaven, whatever you ask to come and go will obey. You’ll not fail or fall. God will use you for His glory, He’ll support you, defend you, and fight for you. So shall it be In Jesus’ name”.

Meanwhile, during his message at the Holy Ghost Service on Friday, Adeboye had said he had a revelation from God about the helicopter crash Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had before it happened.

Recall that Osinbajo had the helicopter crash while on political campaign for the 2019 general elections in Kabba, Kogi State on Saturday February 2, and the management of Caverton helicopter had attributed the cause of the crash to bad weather.

While speaking at the Convention, Pastor Adeboye said “I got the message but I didn’t know how to present it,” adding “He was going around on political campaigns so I didn’t know how to stop him”.

The General Overseer said that after receiving the message, repeating “Father, protect your son” four times, he prayed for two minutes for Osinbajo, who was pastor in the church before becoming Vice President of the country.

“I also didn’t want him to be scared so I resorted to praying for him,” the General Overseer said while talking about the revelation at the Convention.

The Vice President was in attendance, including Governors Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom, Jide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos and Godwin Obaseki of Edo States.
