Conference to equip educators with relevant industry practices to hold on August 17
Havilah EduConsult will on Thursday, August 17, 2017, organise its second Annual School Leaders and Owners Conference (ASOC) aimed at equipping schools with relevant industry practices.
The event will hold at VCP hotel, 292b Ajose Adeogun Street, VI, Lagos.
Phillipa Okonji, convener of the conference, says the event will also provide school leaders the opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry and gain knowledge through practical workshops and panel discussions.
“The theme for this year is WALK THE TALK and we would be exploring holistic ways of equipping schools with relevant industry best practices, especially in this clime and with the current socio-economic backdrop,” Okonji said.
Okonji, an educationist with over 30 years classroom experience, says teachers in Nigeria must be abreast with best practices in educating young minds.
She says the conference will be inspiring an Include experts on the panel who will discuss pertinent issues on educating children.
Some of the panelists are, Yinka Ogunde, Principal Consultant, EDUMARK, Ronke Shoyombo, Director General, Office of Education Quality Assurance, Lagos State, Ike Agbogun, Founder & Program Director, Safe Schools, Joe Aisida, Convener The Executive Teacher, Ify Obidi, Founder, TechSavvy Teacher Academy.

Group rebate of 10% will be given to participants in groups of three and above from the same school.
