The ingenuity of Nigerians came to fore as locally made hand sanitizers and masks flood Abuja before the deadline for the closure of markets on Friday.
Thenewsgu.com (TNG) survey on this development has shown that locally made hand sanitizers in Kubwa, Karimu, De Dei, Gwagwa and Zuba markets sells for between N250-N500 in these markets.
The sanitizers bottled in little plastic containers without label are made with locally made gin(ogogoro) with a pinch of perfume and hawked in the various markets.
At Zuba market as at 10.am hawkers were seen displaying the hand sanitizers and masks in different colours such as white and black.
Also, in Gwagwa, Dei Dei, Kubwa and Karimu markets hawkers displayed their anti-Covid wares.
Recall that the Federal Capital Territory Authority, FCTA had given a directive that all markets should be shut down on Friday.
