Residents of Aguda and Okota area of Lagos State have decried the disruption of the voting process in their community by miscreants who they suspect are sponsored by the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Some of the affected voters who spoke to TheNewsGuru, TNG said the thugs hijacked, burnt some electoral materials in the majority of the polling units in the aforesaid area.
Chidera in Aguda who refused to disclose her surname to TNG said, “This is not fair, it is obvious APC have marked our area for this evil because they know they will lose in this vicinity – there were no provisions to secure polling units.
“Everything was peaceful until the thugs came, they chased everyone [voters] away, and burnt many electoral materials.

@inecnigeria @channelstv the thugs are well armed. They say if we want to vote, we must vote APC or leave the vicinity. They then proceeded to chasing us and beating some of us. This is happening now at Aguda Polling Unit 24-20-02-051, Lagos State. Do something now. We must vote.
