[Videos]: Uproar in Epe over EFCC’s alleged raid on Ambode’s residence
Indigenes of Epe, hometown of the immediate past Governor of Lagos state, Akinwumi Ambode, trooped our in their hundreds Tuesday morning when news filtered into the bubbling coastal town that men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) were allegedly raiding the residence of the former Governor.
Residents who came out in solidarity were seen protesting the raid of Ambode’s house by the EFCC agents. They blocked some of the major roads and allegedly resisted the entry of the EFCC men.
