Trump denies Harry, Meghan security protection over ‘love’ for Queen
President Donald Trump has said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must pay for their security protection in the U.S. after the lovers left Canada for the country.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports President Trump stated this on Sunday, stressing that he is a great friend and admirer of the Queen and the United Kingdom (UK).
Recall that Harry and Meghan who got married on 19 May 2018, in January 2020, announced that they were stepping back from their role as senior members of the royal family.
The lovebirds, who said they would balance their time between the UK and North America, recently left Canada for the US.
Trump said for the love he has for the Queen, Harry and Meghan would have to pay for security protection to live in the U.S.
“I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada.
“Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!” Trump said.
