A mother, Bianca Dickinson was shocked beyond words when she discovered something moving behind her 2-year-old daughter as she took photos of her in Victoria, Australia.
The woman noticed there was a movement behind her daughter during the photoshoot. She however, tossed the thought aside as she assumed it was a piece blown by the wind.
According to the Telegraph, Dickinson thought it was a light object from a tree that was moving with the wind. When she adjusted her focus, she discovered it was a massive brown snake that was slithering past her daughter’s leg.
The eastern brown snake was just a few centimeters away from Molly, her toddler.
‘The photo still makes me have heart failure,’ Ms Dickinson said. She revealed that she wanted to grab her daughter immediately and take her far away from the snake. But she knew doing that would only startle the snake which may strike and hurt her daughter.
‘I think because I stayed still, she then stayed still and it literally just kept slithering past,’ Ms Dickinson said.
After the snake moved away, her other children asked her if she captured the moment on camera. ‘Once I was home I checked my camera and found this shot,’ she said.
The photo that emerged from the scenario showed the enormous snake moving over a pole and into the grass. According to the woman, Molly had no idea anything was going on behind her.
She on the other hand could not take her mind over it. ‘Me on the other hand… I didn’t sleep last night and I have just eaten for the first time since it happened,’ she said.
The eastern brown is the second most venomous snake in the world. Most snakebite deaths in Australia are caused by this snake
