Breaking: NITDA gets new Director General
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), the ICT policy implementing arm of the Federal Ministry of Communication of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has gotten a new Director General (DG).
TheNewsGuru (TNG) reports the DG of the NITDA, who is also it’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is the head overall of the ICT policy implementing arm of the Federal Ministry of Communication of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
President Muhammadu Buhari, according to a statement, on Tuesday approved replacements for Heads of Federal Government agencies that were recently appointed as ministers.
Mr Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi was appointed as the fifth DG of the NITDA to replace Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, who will be taking off as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria effective Wednesday.
According to the statement issues by President Buhari’s spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu released in Abuja, the appointment takes immediate effect.
For the position of Executive Commissioner (Stakeholder Management), Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), President Buhari has forwarded Adeleke Moronfolu Adewolu’s name to the Senate for confirmation as replacement for Sunday Akin Dare
According to the statement, Dr Chioma Ejikeme was appointed Executive Secretary, Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, replacing Sharon O. Ikeazor.
Senator Basheer Garba Mohammed was appointed Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons.
Mohammed replaces Sadiya Umar Farouk, a minister-designate from Zamfara.
